Gaean Reach
Gaean Reach is the fourteenth of Puzzle mode's seventeen planets. It becomes available when any four of Lexicon Delta's five puzzles have been solved.
Similar to the puzzles of Toroid X, the puzzles of Gaean Reach contain two different basic gem types, which are arranged in quadrilateral formations and in checkered patterns. While the third and fourth puzzles of this planet have red and white gems, the other puzzles have blue and white gems instead.
Completing any four of Gaean Reach's five puzzles unlocks Virago Ceti, the next planet in Puzzle mode.
Trivia
The fifth puzzle of Gaean Reach is the only one in Puzzle mode in which the game board is completely filled with gems.
- It is also the only puzzle in which using the Hint button does not indicate any possible matches. This is most likely because the puzzle can be solved in various ways as opposed to it having a direct solution. Clicking the Hint button will make the dialog box "No Hints: There are no hints available for this puzzle." appear.
- Although you can try to do it in different ways, it's best if you looked up the solution on a website like Google. As the puzzle wasn't intended to be beaten normally at all.
