Snackers and Anchovy (titled on YouTube as Bejeweled Blitz presents: Snackers and Anchovy) is a comedy web series featuring the Bejeweled characters Snackers and Anchovy. Snackers and Anchovy is presented in the form of puppetry, with some characters being animated digitally.
The series was presented on YouTube by PopCap Games on the official Bejeweled YouTube channel and was released between April 27, 2012 and August 27, 2012. The web series lasted 6 episodes.
Sypnosis
Snackers and Anchovy follows the daily lives of cats Snackers and Anchovy, whom were ordinary cats who obtained laser powers after touching a Hypercube that was contained in a secret laboratory. They are usually seen doing daily activities or sometimes doing events like camping or throwing a party. Each episode usually lasts around 30 seconds to one minute.
Production and airing
The series was announced with a teaser video being uploaded on the Bejeweled YouTube channel[1], with the first episode of the series debuting on May 18, 2012.[2] The puppets for Snackers and Anchovy were created by puppetry studio Felt Up by Paulie.[3] The show's intro theme, "Cat Puppet Theme" was composed by Joey Trimmer. [4] The final episode of the show debuted on August 12, 2012.[1]
