I don't think this is a Special Gem in the strictest sense. Maybe like the old Bombs in 2. Thelunachase (talk) 07:29, February 23, 2018 (UTC)
- I agree. Special Gems are gems that you can make. Since FrostBlooms are neither gems nor anything that you can create, they're not Special Gems. But I'm not exactly sure what to classify them as. Board elements, perhaps? RedThreeBall016 (talk) 02:05, February 25, 2018 (UTC)

- Well, Luna Chase, I'm pretty sure there's tons of "Board Elements" around Bejeweled Stars. Might as well reclassify as such as well as documenting more Board elements in Bejeweled Stars.
As a side note, the "Bombs" from Bejeweled 2 are still called as "Special Gems", at least on the README file of Bejeweled 2. Just following the official source, hence it's kept that way.
