Hyperspace (also known as Wormhole) is a tunnel that connects player through the completed level to the next one. It's initially introduced in Bejeweled 2.
However, it only shows up when 3D Acceleration is turned on in the Options Menu.
Trivia
- Diamond Mine, the Flash version of Bejeweled, Bejeweled on Java phones, Bejeweled Twist, Bejeweled Blitz, Bejeweled Stars and other Bejeweled games are the only games in the series to not feature the Hyperspace.
- The Hyperspace from Bejeweled Live is slightly different and the animation is faster, similar to the iOS and Android version of Bejeweled 2.
- The Hyperspace from Bejeweled Classic and Bejeweled Live + is a modified version of Bejeweled 2's Hyperspace.
- The PS2 and PS3 version of Bejeweled 2 has slightly glitched of Hyperspace.
