Full Quest List

Stratamax

It's common knowledge from Bejeweled® 3 and Twist that Stratamax quests involve clearing out a certain number of gems in a limited number of moves. That situation is no different within MCMaster's Dijeweled QMP.

  • Stratamax I (No.1): Clear out 80 gems in 20 moves. Multiswap is turned off, hinting to Twist's version of Stratamax, but matchless moves are also off and 5-gem matches create Hypercubes, similar to 3.
  • Stratamax II (No.9): This quest is exactly the same as Stratamax I, except you must clear 90 gems instead of 80.
  • Stratamax III (No.18): Clear 100 gems in 20 moves. Try to create and detonate Special Gems (Flame, Lightning, Hypercubes, Supernovas, etc.) for maximum impact!
  • Stratamax IV (No.21): Clear 110 gems in 20 moves.
  • Stratamax V (No.26): Clear 120 gems in 20 moves.
  • Stratamax VI (No.34): Now we're getting more on the Bonanza side of things. Twist's Bonanza challenge planet is the same as Stratamax, but timed. Clear out 150 gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
  • Stratamax VII (No.39): Clear 175 gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
  • Stratamax VIII (No.47): Clear 200 gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds. Matchless moves are ON for this one!
  • Stratamax IX (No.54): Clear 250 gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds. Matchless moves are ON for this one!
  • Stratamax 10 (No.57): Clear 300 gems in 1 minute and 20 seconds. Matchless moves are ON for this one!

Coal Mine

Similarly to Twist's Coal Mine challenge planet, these quests involve Coals, which cannot be matched - you must use Flame or Lightning to bust them open.

  • Coal Mine I (No.2): Destroy 4 Coals in a single move. Coals appear every 5th move, up to a maximum of 20 simultaneously at any time.
  • Coal Mine II (No.15): Destroy 10 Coals in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Coals appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 10 simultaneously at any time.

Locksmith

These quests involve clearing out Locks. Locked Gems cannot be swapped, but they can be matched just like any other gem.

  • Locksmith I (No.3): Clear out 8 Locks in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Locks appear every 5th move, up to a maximum of 4 simultaneously at any time.
  • Locksmith II (No.14): Clear out 12 Locks in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Locks appear every 5th move, up to a maximum of 4 simultaneously at any time.
  • Locksmith III (No.23): Clear out 20 Locks in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Locks appear every 3rd move, up to a maximum of 4 simultaneously at any time.
  • Locksmith IV (No.35): Clear out 35 Locks in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Locks appear every turn, up to a maximum of 12 simultaneously at any time.
  • Locksmith V (No.49): Clear out 50 Locks in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Locks appear every turn, up to a maximum of 16 simultaneously at any time.

Flamethrower

Similarly to Twist's Firestorm challenge planet, the Flamethrower quests involve exploding a certain amount of Flame Gems within a time limit. Recall that Flame Gems are formed by matching 4 like-colored gems in a line.

  • Flamethrower I (No.4): Explode 5 Flame Gems in 1 minute.
  • Flamethrower II (No.20): Explode 15 Flame Gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
  • Flamethrower III (No.27): Explode 25 Flame Gems in 1 minute and 20 seconds.
  • Flamethrower IV (No.43): Explode 40 Flame Gems in 2 minutes.

Time Bomb

These quests bear similarity to 3's Time Bomb quests, in that you have to clear out a certain number of Bomb Gems either before one reaches zero or within a time limit. Match Bomb Gems with like-colored gems to clear them.

  • Time Bomb I (No.5): Destroy 10 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 20, and they appear every 5th turn. Up to 5 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb II (No.8): Destroy 15 Bomb Gems in 2 minutes. Counters start at 15, and they appear every 5th turn. Up to 5 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb III (No.16): Destroy 20 Bomb Gems in 1 minute. Counters start at 15, and they appear every turn. Up to 5 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb IV (No.24): Destroy 25 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 10, and they appear every turn. Up to 8 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb V (No.29): Destroy 30 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 5. Only one Bomb can be on the board at any given time, and as soon as you clear one out, another one will drop in its place.
  • Time Bomb VI (No.32): Destroy 40 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 5, and they appear every 3rd turn. Up to 5 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb VII (No.42): Destroy 50 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 5, and they appear every turn. Up to 3 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb VIII (No.45): Destroy 60 Bomb Gems in 3 minutes. Counters start at 10, and they appear every turn. Up to 10 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb IX (No.53): Destroy 80 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 8, and they appear every other turn. Up to 10 Bombs can be on the board at once.
  • Time Bomb 10 (No.59): Destroy 100 Bomb Gems. Counters start at 3. Only one Bomb can be on the board at any given time, and as soon as you clear one out, another one will drop in its place. Watch out - this one is very lethal.

Destroyer

These quests bear some similarity to Twist's Detonator challenge planet, in that you have to clear out a certain number of gems in a single move.

  • Destroyer I (No.6): Clear 40 gems in a single move. Time limit: 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • Destroyer II (No.13): Clear 140 gems in a single move. Time limit: 2 minutes. This one has been playtested, and is 100% possible without RNG.

Ice Storm

These quests are named after a mode of the same name from 3, but the objective is way different. These quests involve clearing out Frozen Gems, which are created from spawning Ice Locks. Frozen Gems can't fall or be swapped, but they can be matched like any other gem.

  • Ice Storm I (No.7): Clear 4 Frozen Gems in 45 seconds. Ice Locks appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 4 at once.
  • Ice Storm II (No.22): Clear 10 Frozen Gems in 1 minute. Ice Locks appear every 3rd turn, up to a maximum of 6 at once.
  • Ice Storm III (No.33): Clear 50 Frozen Gems in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Ice Locks appear every 3rd turn, up to a maximum of 12 at once.
  • Ice Storm IV (No.50): Clear 100 Frozen Gems in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Ice Locks appear every turn, up to a maximum of 16 at once.

Survivor

Similarly to Twist's challenge planet of the same name, your goal in these quests is to weather numerous threats of Bad Gems and survive for a certain number of turns.

  • Survivor I (No.10): Survive 60 turns. Bomb Gem counters start at 15, and they appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 5 at once. Doom Gem counters start at 10. Locks appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 12. Ice Locks appear every 8th turn, up to a maximum of 2.
  • Survivor II (No.19): Survive 100 turns. Bomb Gem counters start at 15, and they appear every 3rd turn, up to a maximum of 5 at once. Doom Gem counters start at 10. Skull counters start at 10 if they spawn at the top, and up to 2 Skulls can be on the board at once. Locks appear every 3rd turn, up to a maximum of 12. Ice Locks appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 4.
  • Survivor III (No.40): Survive 160 turns. Bomb Gem counters start at 7, and they appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 5 at once. Doom Gem counters start at 15. Skull counters start at 7 if they spawn at the top, and up to 3 Skulls can be on the board at once. Locks appear every 5th turn, up to a maximum of 12. Ice Locks appear every 8th turn, up to a maximum of 8. This one is pretty lethal... be careful!

Doom Defender

These quests are all about Doom Gems. Their counters tick down only on matchless moves, and they cannot be swapped or matched - you must use Flame or Lightning to destroy them.

  • Doom Defender I (No.11): Destroy 3 Doom Gems in 45 seconds.
  • Doom Defender II (No.30): Destroy 10 Doom Gems in 1 minute and 20 seconds.
  • Doom Defender III (No.55): Destroy 30 Doom Gems in 1 minute and 40 seconds.

Thunderstrike

Similarly to Twist's Voltage challenge planet, these quests involve detonating a certain number of Lightning Gems within a time limit. Lightning Gems are formed by matching 5 gems in a T, an L, a plus shape, or a line.

  • Thunderstrike I (No.12): Unleash 5 Lightning Gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
  • Thunderstrike II (No.25): Unleash 12 Lightning Gems in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
  • Thunderstrike III (No.44): Unleash 25 Lightning Gems in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • Thunderstrike IV (No.60): Unleash 32 Lightning Gems in a single move in 5 minutes. You'd do well to be prepared to rage. This one is the most lethal of them all.

Preserver

Similarly to Twist's challenge planet of the same name, your goal is to get a certain number of a certain color gem on the board.

  • Preserver I (No.17): Get 15 Green Gems on the board in 1 minute and 40 seconds. If you've beaten Preserver 1 in Twist before, this one is a cakewalk.
  • Preserver II (No.36): Get 10 Red, 10 Blue, 10 Yellow, and 10 White Gems on the board. No rush - there's no time limit.

Nebula

A completely new and unique quest series! These quests involve detonating Nova-type gems in a small time limit.

  • Nebula I (No.28): Unleash a Supernova in 30 seconds.
  • Nebula II (No.31): Unleash a Septanova in 40 seconds.
  • Nebula III (No.38): Unleash an Octanova in 45 seconds.
  • Nebula IV (No.46): Unleash 2 Octanovas in 45 seconds.
  • Nebula V (No.51): Unleash 4 Octanovas in 1 minute and 15 seconds.

Enigma

Similarly to Twist's challenge planet of the same name, these quests involve creating a certain set of special gems in a single move.

  • Enigma I (No.37): Create 5 Flame Gems in a single move. Time limit: 1 minute and 20 seconds.
  • Enigma II (No.52): Create 5 Flame Gems and 3 Lightning Gems in a single move.
  • Enigma III (No.58): Create and detonate 2 Octanovas in the same move. Time limit: 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Skull Eradicator

These quests involve Skulls, which you must use Flame or Lightning to destroy.

  • Skull Eradicator I (No.41): Destroy 3 Skulls in 30 seconds. Up to 3 Skulls can be on the board at once.
