Current

Current is the first board element in Bejeweled Stars. They are officially seen Aim for the Stars! island, Level 1 (Intro to Currents).

Properties

The Currents can be seen as a row, a column, a rectangle, a square or a polygon of blue arrow pointing stream. They move every turn after all cascades ended. Gems, Crystal, Stone and movable board elements move along with the current, potentially causing more cascades.

There are also currents portals, where gems and movable elements can be transported to source part of the board through currents. Each current gem enters is associated with exactly another one where a gem comes out.

Speed

Normally, the Currents move at the fast speed. But when the board elements have both Glacier and Current, the Current will move at the same speed of Glacier; otherwise they will keep the own speed. This also cause the Glacier move at the same speed of Current.

Players can move current without using move by Fast Forward. Also players can switch the moving direction by using Tide Turner. When the board have both Glacier and Current, certain levels Tide Turner will probihit the use due to fixed set.
