Coin Gem is a type of gem that only appears in Bejeweled Blitz. Matching one will automatically give the player 100 coins.

A special sound plays when one is dropped onto the board.

Tips and Sources

Match Multiplier Gems. You get the same amount of coins as your multiplier total, so if you ended your game at x6, you get 600 coins. In the Facebook version, x1 does not give out 100 coins.
Match them normally. Match one with two other normal gems of the same color to earn them.
In case you have the Detonator boost, use the powerup only if you haven't used it yet and that there is a Coin or some Coins on the board and it'll collect up all coins.
Don't get put off if it's time up and you haven't matched a Coin. The Last Hurrah collects it for you.
Try to use Special Gems. If one is in the range of a Flame Gem, Star Gem, or Hypercube, try to detonate that Special Gem.

In the now defunct PC version of Bejeweled Blitz, Silver Coins depicted as White Gems are the replacements of this type of gem during offline mode. That was done to prevent "coin hacking" according to the "README" document.
While in the mobile and Facebook version of Bejeweled Blitz, it is not white gem as coin, it is yellow gem as coin
